We are not talking about "acquiring more clients", "becoming the largest company in the market", or "having the best team of professionals"…
What is the core purpose that has driven your company to where it is today? What global-level problems does it set out to solve and make people's lives better?
Have you ever stopped to think about that?
The world is changing and becoming more aware of its limitations and major challenges.
Let us consider some of these issues:
— How do we feed 9.7 billion people by 2050?
— How do we bring quality internet and education to every human being on the planet?
— How do we make the world less unequal and more just in every country?
In the world's major innovation hubs, especially in Silicon Valley, ideas that seek to solve these grand challenges are called Moonshots.
It is when we aim so high at a goal that, even if we do not reach it, we will have accomplished incredible feats that 90 percent of companies never achieve.
The United Nations has outlined 17 global goals related to humanity's greatest challenges:
— No Poverty;
— Zero Hunger and Sustainable Agriculture;
— Good Health and Well-Being;
— Quality Education;
— Gender Equality;
— Clean Water and Sanitation;
— Affordable and Clean Energy;
— Decent Work and Economic Growth;
— Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure;
— Reduced Inequalities;
— Sustainable Cities and Communities;
— Responsible Consumption and Production;
— Climate Action;
— Life Below Water;
— Life on Land;
— Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions;
— Partnerships for the Goals.
These decisions will determine the global course of action to end poverty, promote prosperity and well-being for all, protect the environment, and address climate change.
And every Moonshot project is aligned with solving one or more of these goals.
What drives someone to develop a project like this is not money, success, or fame.
If any of those are among your objectives, the moonshot model is definitely not for you at this moment.
StartSe believes that nothing will be more important to our future than creating ways to solve these challenges in the coming years.
It is no coincidence that Moonshot is the name of StartSe University's first program.
And if you also understand the importance of this project and are willing to create solutions capable of making the world a better place for you, your children, your grandchildren, and all of humanity…
Then we believe this project has everything it takes to support you on that journey.
