Nubank, Neon, C6 Bank, QuintoAndar, Loggi, Grow… and StartSe! These are some of the startups featured in the ranking of the 25 most desired companies, as selected by LinkedIn.
The social network evaluates companies based on four criteria: employee growth, engagement, job interest, and attraction of top talent.
This year, the startups with the strongest presence in the ranking are fintechs. They claimed first and second place with Nubank and C6 Bank, respectively.
Nubank took first place for the second consecutive year, while C6 Bank, a new digital bank that recently launched its operations, follows close behind.
In addition to these, Neon, Creditas, Warren, Koin, Zoop, Contabilizei, and Atlas Quantum secured their spots on the podium, amplifying the presence of startups offering financial solutions for individuals and businesses.
The second startup category to dominate the award was a tie: logtechs (logistics) and construtechs (construction and real estate sector).
Loggi, which became a unicorn this year, ranked 6th, joined in the sector by Cobli (fleet management) and CargoX, known as the “Uber of Trucks”.
Three construtechs made the ranking — and one of them placed third! Loft buys, renovates, and resells properties, leveraging technology to make these processes more efficient.
QuintoAndar, an online real estate rental platform, ranked 5th, and EmCasa ranked 8th, also operating in property buying and selling.
The other startups that appeared in the ranking span diverse segments, offering cloud solutions, consulting, operating systems, and more. They are idwall, vitalIT, Sky.one Solutions, and Mooven Consulting.
A surprising category, yet present in the ranking, was food! Dengo Chocolates and Desinchá placed 16th and 17th, respectively.
Grow, the merger of Yellow and Grin, was the only mobility startup in the LinkedIn Top Startups 2019. The same applied to the HR, travel miles, and education sectors.
Xerpa, MaxMilhas, and StartSe were the respective representatives of these categories.
